I have a problem with the Yocto operating system, that includes the matchbox as a window manager, that it's a problem for a project that I'm developing. I'm doing an application in Qt that I'm removing the frames. In gnome I order to quit the frames and it works well but the same program running in the IGEP COM Module with the Yocto operating system, because of the matchbox, it appears a frame that I need to quit (I have to show an image in a 48x80 LED panel, so the frame of 4 pixels above and left, I need to quit them).
I need a solution, and it seems that matchbox it's a problem because this frame appears always. Could you explain me how I can change the window manager or something because I need to delete this frame.
Accepted Answer0I'm using in main.cpp Mainwindow object that uses the method setWindowFlags(Qt::CustomizeWIndowHint) and developing this application for my computer, I haven't got frames about the Mainwindow. For the COM Module, I delete the frames but as I've told you, the MainWIndow object has a 4 pixels frame around the window.
Accepted Answer0I need something like "calculator" example (http://labs.isee.biz/index.php/How_to_develop_with_Qt_under_IGEP) doesn't have this frame around the window created for it. What is the difference or how you deleted the frames around the widget?
Accepted AnswereballetboOffline0Hi gerteksa,
To develop with QT I'll recommend use as a base system de qt4e-demo-image (not default demo-image-sato). The qt4e-demo-image only installs QT libraries without matchbox window system.
If you want to create and customize the image you only need to do under Yocto:
Hope it helps.
